Transport Administrator

Working hours:
Monday - Friday

8.30am - 5.30pm (office based), 40 hours per week

Daily duties:

- Order entry - process customer orders for deliveries, installations and collections from key accounts (new job entry, existing job amendments, projects admin), including job pricing
- Proof of delivery - upload and check photos and paperwork
- Book deliveries in with sites, using internal and external resources - liaise with the planning department
- Answer phone queries and direct them to the correct departments
- Deal with ad-hoc customer queries
- Sign off supplier invoices against customer services
- General office and ad-hoc office duties
- Scanning, filing
- Assist the Transport, Warehouse and Accounts departments, as and when needed
- Use of Transport and Warehouse Software

**Competencies**
- Able to operate effectively in a high paced, service driven transport operation (mainly next day service)
- Possess a good understanding of all relevant legal compliance (UK transport)
- Comprehensive understanding all of areas of the supply chain
- Full understanding of transport and warehouse operational systems
