We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager who is looking to drive HR Performance and integrate HR practices, embed our values and commitments, drive the engagement agenda, champion and manage people related change / organisation design as well as shapeand implement a joined up overall people plan for the site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Adopting a GXO culture on site with Union recognition.
- Building and driving the site HR People plan to support an overall business plan, developing employee relations agenda
- Facilitating harmonious employee relations with the site teams and respective Trade Union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation
- Ensuring company standards and policies are implemented on a consistent basis
- Provide full HR generalist support and advice to Managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relations issues is maintained to ensure the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated.Take the leadon complex ER issues
- Ensure that the HR team provide a consultancy and advisory service to all managers on
- matters of discipline, grievance and performance improvement
- Collaboration and negotiations with recognised Trade Union
- Working with management team to ensure long term absence and capability situations are dealt with in line with policy with rehabilitation plans / exit plans are adopted in line with best practice
- Pro-actively develop the line management capability through formal training, coaching and guidance on all HR related activities
- Supporting the L&D strategy for the site and delivering on-site training programmes to meet identified training needs
- Ensuring that processes are in place for talent identification, succession planning and coaching
for leaders and high potential colleagues
- Gathering and analysing monthly management information such as labour turnover, headcount
- and absence statistics and using it to provide insight and support key business decisions across
- area of responsibility
- Ensure people metrics are in line with Contract KPI’s
- Encouraging and recommending site communication and engagement strategies
- Active participation in key strategic and HR projects, supporting both the HR and Organisational strategy and change programmes
