People Services Advisor (HR Advisor) - Tongwell, Milton Keynes

As a People ServicesAdvisor, you willbe responsible for supporting and delivering day-to-day transactional HR and administration of the People Services department, with a specific focus on supporting and advising middle management across the Group on people management processes.

Here's a flavour of what you'll be doing :

  • Monitoring the department inbox and respond to day-to-day enquiries (both internal and external) in a timely and efficient manner
  • Timely administration of new starters, leavers, variations to contracts, and processing of offers of employment ensuring the quality of work meets departmental and organisational expectations
  • As delegated by the Senior People Services Advisor and the Head of People Services, attending ER meetings as HR support, taking notes and providing sound advice
  • Acting as the point of contact for Dawson Recruit into People Services, in collating and distributing offers of employment and ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies
  • Collaboratingwith cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support organisational goals
  • Contributingto the production of information reports and data analysis as required by People Services management

Qualifications:

  • CIPD, or equivalent, qualified
  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, with a solid understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility at all levels of the organisation
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
