**Key responsibilities**:
Lead and manage the architecture community, providing direction, guidance, and support.

Facilitate internal mobility, shape career paths, and recruit architecture talent to build capability and excellence for a lean agile architecture practice.

Create high performing teams with an agile mindset. Building teams that consistently and iteratively deliver quality services.

You will develop the agile ways of working in collaboration with your team and other heads of roles to promote effective cross-functional agile delivery.

You have good people management skills to lead and manage a large diverse architecture team including architects from our digital partners.

You have a track record of hiring and retaining top architecture talent and nurturing a community that can repeatedly successfully embed best practices in our delivery teams through the standards and process guardrails that you are responsible for.

You have a deep knowledge of a range of architecture tools and techniques, with an ability to coach within and outside of your team.

You have experience working in environments using DevOps practices and deploying to a public cloud.

You are good at building strong relationships across the organisation to be able to influence strategy and execution and advocate for agile delivery practices.

You are able to proactively solve issues, unblock problems, drive teams and set the pace, ensuring teams are working towards delivery commitments with a focus on outcomes.

You are able to identify and challenge organisational processes of unnecessarily high complexity and can coach the organisation to inspect and adapt processes.

You keep abreast of emerging trends and best practices and can embed relevant trends and practices into the organisation.
