**Role Overview**:
bp’s Communications & External Affairs team aims to build bp’s reputation by proactively putting forward a clear, concise set of messages supported with powerful proof points to defined target audiences.

Sitting within the Regional, Corporates and Solutions entity, this role supports the People and Culture team and will work closely with the senior communications manager for Talent and Reward and other members of the team, on key initiatives and campaigns to bp’s employees.

**What you will do**:

- Work with the senior communications manager to provide support, guidance and direction to the talent and reward teams.
- Identify opportunities to support more integrated communications across P&C and the C&EA function.
- Input into and coordinate delivery of the Talent and Reward communications plan, encompassing key deliverables from Reward, Leadership & Culture and Learning & Development
- Liaise with team members in reward and talent to ensure a balanced and joined up approach to group-wide P&C materials.
- Responsibility for developing communication assets for key projects such as growth week, reinventing leadership, year-end pay review.
- Deliver to deadline, prioritising according to importance and benefit and flagging issues.
- Identify and draft content for multiple channels, writing simple, clear and concise communications.
- Measure and assess the effectiveness of activities, with a view to continuous improvement, and introducing technology and new solutions.

**What you will have**:
3-5 years’ experience
An internal communications track record inside or outside bp, including evidence of managing and implementing communication plans using a number of tools and channels.
Operated in a advisory capacity, providing strategic guidance and advice regarding effective communications approaches, messaging frameworks and delivery mechanics.
Exposure to campaign planning techniques and driving integration across multiple streams of activity whilst being able to link to an overarching plan.
- Strong influencer with a flexible communication style.

Engaging writer with experience delivering messages to a variety of audiences and cultures.
Good understanding of digital tools such as dotdigital/Teams/SharePoint as well as office
Solid coordination skills and the ability to multi-task.
