Kiwi Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside one of our longest serving clients who have a brilliant opportunity to join their team as Product Information Assistant.
Our client is one of the UK’s largest online retailers of engineering components to the mechanical engineering industry. With year-by-year sales growth, they have established a reputation for producing creative, high-quality items.
Due to the growth of our client they have had to re-locate to a brand-new purpose-built warehouse in Chichester which presents exciting new opportunities, none more so than this one as Product Information Assistant, where your hard work and commitment will be recognised.
Our client is searching for a self-assured, motivated, organised, and conscientious Product Information Assistant.
You will be in charge of maintaining and updating existing material while introducing new products and content for several businesses across various e-commerce platforms. The position requires an individual with great organisational abilities, a sharp eye for detail, the ability to adhere to best practices, and the ability to respond positively to last-minute demands.

**Working Hours and Holiday**:

- Salary £22,000 - £23,000 per annum (depending on level of experience)
- 2 Group Hours - Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm and 9.30am - 6pm. Alternate weeks.
- 3 months’ probation period.
- 25 working days paid holiday (plus Bank Holidays).

**Duties to include**:

- Responsibility for product data integrity in all our clients E-Commerce systems.
- Ensure new and existing products are updated in a timely and accurate manner in readiness for websites and catalogue production.
- Writing product descriptions and resizing images, working with suppliers to gather missing product data and images.
- Liaising with management to ensure stock, pricing, and lead times are accurately kept up to date across the site.
- Maintain customer data for marketing purposes in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

**Requirements**:

- Highly competent computer user.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel including using a variety of formulas, lookups, and data validation techniques to improve effectiveness as a team.
- Experience of working in back-office systems.
- Proven ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Previous experience within an e-commerce business (Advantageous)
- Basic SEO knowledge and experience of using Google Analytics (Advantageous)
