We are looking at hiring a 2 man multi skilled civils gang based in Essex

The gang must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience each and be willing to travel for works in and around the Essex area. One must be a competent SSSTS working supervisor to lead the gang and be able to organise their day to day works which includes calling off orders, hiring and off hiring plant and equipment, ordering materials and equipment through our procurement team in the office.

Key skills required include but are not limited to;
- Installation of drainage, chambers and ducting works.
- Street works, kerbs, paving, excavations and reinstatement.
- Concrete pavement works, mesh, basic shuttering, pouring and finishing.
- Earthworks, sub base works, trenching.
- Plant tickets required within the gang, dumper, roller, excavator above and below 10t.
- All operatives must have in date CSCS cards.
- SSSTS supervisor
- First aid preferred.
- Suitable plant and equipment checks, daily record keeping and safety briefings

A van will be provided for the gang for work use. Weekend work is available and will be required from time to time.
- Start date - Will be 11th
- Site hours - 7:30am - 5pm
- How many hours paid per day - 9.5hrs per day, more if you stay on longer where required.
- Weekend work is paid at x1.5 both days
- The sites can be anywhere in Essex, sometimes in Kent, Outer London,
- Workers will need a set of basic hand tools and the company can provide power tools and plant.

**Salary**: £20.00-£22.00 per hour
