Your opportunity
The Content Team plays a central role in supporting Janus Henderson’s mission of delivering differentiated insights and our focus on putting clients first. This role is instrumental in sharing the intellectual capital of our investment teams by ensuring product commentary reach clients in a timely, easy to consume and relevant manner.
- Maintain the global commentary production schedule and ensure obligations are recorded in all applicable systems and appropriately communicated with contributors to the commentary effort.
- Engage with business partners, Content Team Managers, and associates across the production cycle to work through new commentary requests and seamlessly fold new deliverables into the workflow.
- Work with Content Manager to improve efficiency and focus, which includes monitoring commentary usage, alignment with focus products, optimization of reach, and rationalization of unused deliverables.
- Develop expertise in commentary production systems, support senior Content Team members with document processing and publication, and handle daily troubleshooting, escalating matters to Content Management as necessary.
- Oversee vendor relationships with external writing and editing staff supporting the commentary effort. Liaise with and enable efficiencies for investment desks as well as investment writers and commentary contractors.
- Establish an understanding of Janus Henderson’s priority products and become an expert in our vehicle offerings, understanding implications for commentary and thought leadership based on asset class, product type and region of sale.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across Investments, Marketing, Distribution, Operations, and Compliance to ensure outputs are firmly aligned with the requirements of the business.
- Support the broader Global Content Team through thought leadership schedule maintenance, global content publication and notification, and engagement tracking as Commentary workload allows.

Must have skills
- Project management and relationship management expertise
- Diligence, strong planning and implementation skills with a focus on deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and project workflow tools.
- Collaborative approach, willing to get involved in all aspects of the business
Nice to have skills
- Degree-level education, with business, finance, project management, or similar relevant degree
- Knowledge of, or keen interest in, investments and financial markets
- Experience with SharePoint, Azure, Vermilion, WordPress and/or Bloomberg
- Resourcefulness, with the ability to identify inefficiencies, troubleshoot on the fly, and seek out and employ process enhancements
