Due to our continued growth and success we have a vacancy for an Export Packer Operative to work in our busy Export Packing department.

Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.30. Overtime is available.

The main responsibilities of the Export Packer Operative include:

- To work within the packing department team within the guidelines laid down by the Company with special regard to safety
- Utilise timber cross-cut, plywood, band, rip saws and nail guns
- Manufacture accurate plywood/rough sawn cases for export
- Construct wooden base / four way / two way pallets
- To carefully and physically handle clients’ goods.

The essential qualities of the Export Packer Operative include:

- Jobholder will be numerate
- Capable of understanding the aspects of case making/packing etc. as instructed by the Packing Supervisor
- Competent in the safe use of all machinery in the operation
- Experience/ability in export packing or machinery using shrink wrapping or foil bagging techniques would be beneficial but full training will be given.
- To help maintain a safe working environment in line with H&S Act 1974.
