Anderson Knight are working with a client based in Inverclyde to recruit a HR Administrator for a 12 month fixed term contract. This position is full time and will be based onsite Monday - Friday. As HR Administrator you will have strong Admin skills, excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries
- Ensure efficient and effective HR administration service is provided to the business
- Manage the administrative and transactional aspects of the HR department at all stages of the employee life cycle
- Update and maintain employee records and HR/Payroll systems
- Manage queries in the HR shared mailbox and provide prompt and accurate responses
- Prepare and issue a variety of letters, including mail merge
- Support monthly payroll processing
- Track all holidays and leaves of absences
- Support the team in identifying training requirements and organizing training courses
- Support with expenses claims
- Maintain confidentiality at all times, adhering to GDPR legislation
- Ensure all work is carried out within employment legislation requirements and HR best practice

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced HR department is essential
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
- Ability to use own initiative as well as work as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience of preparing large mail merges and working with large amounts of data
- A good understanding of GDPR in practice
- An ability to demonstrate tact and discretion when dealing with confidential information

**Job Types**: Permanent, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
