Pertemps are pleased to be working with an extremely well-established client, who specialise in the high-pressure systems industry. They are now looking for a Transport Shift Coordinator to join their team.

**The primary purpose of this role**
- Execute a successful de-brief with driver groups, capturing pertinent information to foster an efficient and service led function.
- Administration and manage daily operations of the drivers & fleet to complete the daily schedule from the Supply Chain Centre.
- Support of key systems to enable the Transport Manager to make informed decisions.

**Responsibilities**
- Review, maintain & update Training logs ensuring all staff are available to and attend training courses as required.
- Review compliance & quality of Pre use inspections.
- Complete when required Synergi/Near miss reporting & feedback.
- Attend & contribute to branch SHEQ committee meetings.
- Complete thorough driver trip Debriefs and refer poor performing drivers to the Transport Manager.
- Manage & review TMS and/or its equivalent for each driver, challenge and debrief drivers as appropriate for any recorded exceptions.
- Manage & plan Night Milk round Driver.
- Attend daily morning branch Ops Meeting with Production, Asset control, etc.
- Manage, review and plan to maintain & improve the branch CSM targets.
- Manage driver’s hours & ensure legal compliance as per the Working Time Directive & Drivers hour’s rules.
- Using the CDU & FTA Gateway to maintain drivers hours records and tachographs to include uploads of vehicles & drivers within the required time limits, collate and send charts/envelopes to FTA for analysis.
- Ensure vehicles are available for scheduled maintenance & MOT, with an appropriate replacement to meet the business demand.
- Carryout driving licence, ADR certificate, CPC card checks at the appropriate time. Maintain & review driving licence records.
- Manage driver’s availability to complete their Traccess chapters as appropriate.
- Maintain & enter accurate WvS data onto NTD.
- Receive and respond to out of hours phone calls, including emergency delivery requests, etc.
- Update & maintain accurate Geofences in TMS or its equivalent.
- Update & manage the Driver Risk Index.
- Ensure the Denso (HHD) Uploads Post Trip and is charging in its cradle.
- Liaise with DLT for & raise any reported delivery constraints from drivers via Tele Query's.
- Report & liaise with DLT any reported changes to Master Data by drivers.
- Manage & review Fuel stocks (at those branches with own fuel), fuel drawn onsite/offsite using the Odyssey system.
- Manage & meet the MPG targets for branches.
- Work with CSC / DLT/ Account Manager & other departments within BOC & Linde Group.
- Manage emergency delivery request that come into the Transport office.
- Organise the driver’s working weekends & Bank Holidays.
- Provide the Daily Driver availability Sheet to Scheduler.
- Maintain Extra Trip Log.
- Enter & maintain Planning driver’s hours (SAPHR).
- As & when required form part of working groups & contribute to business Projects, this will form part of personal development.
- Cover Transport Manager duties when required.
