**Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver (Curtain-Sider)**

**Location**: Cambuslang

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, approximately 07:30 AM starts.

Staffing Network Scotland Ltd is a leading recruitment agency specializing in providing staffing solutions to various industries across Scotland. We are currently seeking a dedicated Class 1 HGV Driver to join our client's team for general haulage work using curtain-sided trailers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate Class 2 HGV vehicles equipped with curtain-sided trailers.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations following specified routes and schedules.
- Adhere to all relevant safety procedures and regulations during loading, transport, and unloading processes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical soundness of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and clients to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and workspace.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 2 HGV license with CPC qualification.
- Proven experience operating curtain-sided trailers preferred.
- Solid understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks as needed.
