Night Porter/receptionist

**We have a great opportunity for a Night Receptionist to join the group at Showcase Apartments.**

**We are recruiting for a Night Receptionist to join our great team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, genuine and friendly person who really enjoys working in hotels and wants to provide great hospitality to our guests, contributing to them having a Happy stay with us.**

As a Night Receptionistyou will be responsible for delivering a high level of service to all our guests. Working in Reception and offering a warm welcome to all our guests you will ensure the building is safe and secure overnight and that all guests requirements are catered for

This is a Cluster role where you will be required to work across any of our 2 Leicester City Centre properties.

**Experience we are looking for -**
- To have worked in a hotel or with people in a customer related role.
- Excellent Customer service skills, to be able to follow standards and to have good organisational skills.
- To be able to make decisions in a fast paced environment and to enjoy it
- To be able to communicate well to each other and guests
- Be able to use a phone and computer system.

**The Job-**
- To be aware of all Front Office Systems
- and Room Lists
- Hourly Security Patrol of building and basement
- To ensure security control checks are carried out and any incidents reported to the Directors and/or police
- To ensure a high standard of hospitality and service is offered
- To deal with customers queries efficiently and in a professional manner (pass to morning team and Directors)
- To deal with and report all Maintenance issues as and when they arise
- To report all Health and Safety issues as and when they arise
- To inform Directors of all relevant issues
- To adhere to the Hotel & Departmental SOPs
- To attend all training as and when required **(Fire Marshall)**:

- To be fully conversant with and adhere to Hotel Fire Procedures, Health & Safety Policy, FEEP
- To take on any other reasonable duties or carry out requests necessary to ensure we deliver the highest standards of service in this hotel
- To prepare, deliver and charge all food and beverage orders
- To ensure a good working relationship with colleagues
- To ensure cleanliness of ground floor public areas
- To ensure all windows and doors are locked

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From £10.57 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
