KP Civil LTD is a growing Civil Construction company based in Castlewellan carrying out work throughout Northern Ireland. We specialise in Plant/Labour Hire, Groundworks, Drainage and general siteworks to Residential, Commercial and Infrastructure projects. Going above and beyond to meet our client's needs is our number one priority, producing high quality work in a safe and timely manner.

Job description

Applicants Role:

- Permanent member of the team as a Skilled Groundworker
- Work with the excavator operator carrying out drainage and other groundworks duties as required
- Work with all sizes of pipe from 100mm PVC to 1200mm concrete laying them to NI Water specifications.
- Form, bench and complete manholes to a NI Water specifications.
- Understand and read plans, use standard laser level/pipe laser.
- Lay kerbing, pavers and fencing.
- Help with the general running of the site as a leader within the team.

Applicants must:

- Have minimum 2 years experience as a groundworker
- Provide a CV of any/all work experience and education
- Valid Driving License
- CSR Card
- Be Reliable
- Have Good timekeeping
- Show leadership in making decisions and managing others
- Be Self Motivated
- Have a Good Work Ethic
- Use initiative
- Conduct themselves in a professional respectful manner

You will be working with a team of three other employees, all with different experience levels all working together to achieve certain tasks. Being able to work with others is essential, and you will also be required at times to show leadership. The hourly rate you will be paid will reflect this.

Machine tickets are preferred but not essential, if required, help will be provided to achieve these.

KP Civil Ltd will encourage anyone wishing to do extra training and will provide financial support to achieve this.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00-£16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Belfast: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSR Card (preferred)
- Groundworks experience (required)

Work Location: In person
