We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our well established Support team as a Tenancy Sustainment Worker to deliver intensive housing management at our Adult and Families Supported Service in **Honiton**.
- This can be a challenging role at times, as you will predominantly be lone working with and supporting customers from a range of different backgrounds with low to medium complex support needs and will need to be able to manage these cases efficiently with the ability to create, review and update support plans, risk assessments and needs assessments on our CRM platform. Therefore, using your
**initiative** and having the
**ability to**
**problem** solve is key.

**Good communication skills** are essential for this role as you will be working with customers to liaise with Local Authority Services, Community Mental Health Teams, GP and NHS Services, Probation and the Police. You will also be liaising with other agencies to obtain information and advice, helping them with referrals into local services to deal with current problems, seek advice and gain treatment.

You will work
**collaboratively** with wider supported housing colleagues to ensure that customers are able to maintain their tenancy and can access services that are appropriate to their needs in line with our strategic aims, values, policies, and operational standards, and to maximise outcomes for customers and LiveWest. You will deal with any accommodation issues the customer may have and signpost them to the appropriate course of action.

You will ensure that the building safety is maintained,
**organising** remedial works and repairs with contractors.

You will also be liaising with local landlords and social housing providers to move customers onto independence in the community. You will signpost customers with specific needs such as mental health, substance abuse, budgeting, benefit claims, preventing debt, relationship issues and exploring options around training, education and employment.

We are looking for someone who is** dynamic**, **driven **and has a passion for helping others in the local community. You will have pride in your work, a positive attitude, a **proactive** approach and the confidence to support a diverse range of people.

This role is being offered on a **part time**, **permanent** basis, working **20 hours **per week, working 5 hours per day from Monday to Thursday. Bandwidth hours will be 8am - 9pm with start and finish times that can be negotiated.

To be considered for the role of Tenancy Sustainment Worker, you will be/have:

- Experience in delivering housing support to individuals with vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of the social housing sector.
- Someone who has the initiative and desire to work independently.- Have an understanding of support needs and support planning.- Have experience of risk assessing and risk management.-
- Be a great communicator with the ability to build a rapport.-
- Have accurate record keeping and computer skills.
- Have a flexible approach to work.
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
