**Introduction**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Inventory Controller to join our growing business. Liaising with external suppliers and our internal engineering and production teams, the Inventory Controller will continually review Inventory levels to ensure they are maintained within required limits through raising and issuing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries. The Inventory Controller is required to perform regular inventory audits and analyses, and forecast supply and demand requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Checking stock levels and addressing any discrepancies
- Ensure that purchasing and stock control procedures are carried out in accordance with company policies
- Raising and issuing RFQ’s and Purchase Orders
- Carrying out goods receipt procedures to check deliveries match our specifications
- Creating inventory and supplier reports
- Maintain accurate and up to date ERP & CRM databases including accurate records of purchases
- Forecast supply and demand to maintain adequate stock levels, and adjust re-order levels as appropriate
- Investigate the supply chain and evaluate potential new suppliers
- Evaluate supplier price offers and negotiate where needed
- Coordinate regular inventory audits and liaise with other departments
- Issue of components to production, and book back in any unused items
- Ensure that information required for key performance indicators is accurate and up to date
- Update and research recommendations for product and system improvements
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Other duties not listed above may also be required from time to time

**Required Skills**:

- Highly organised with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of inventory control methods and supply chain management
- Analytical and logístical thinking abilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to manage several competing demands, and prioritise own workload accordingly
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
