**Purchase Ledger Clerk/ Leicestershire/ 9 month FTC / £22,000-26,000**

**Macildowie**are excited to be working with a brilliant business based in **Oakham** looking to add an experienced **Purchase Ledger** to their team.

This is a **9 month fixed term contract.**

They are looking for someone who can get stuck in from day one, and hit the ground running.

The roll is fully office working **Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00** the salary for this role is **£22,000 - £26,000** dependent on experience.

This has the potential to move extremely quickly, perfect for someone on a short-term notice or immediately available.

**THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ownership of the purchase ledger
- Matching, coding and posting
- invoices to the correct nominal codes
- Resolving disputes with query invoices and suppliers
- Reconciliation of supplier statements on a monthly basis
- Assist in controlling the GRNI's and outstanding PO's, including liaising with other departments within the business
- Process staff expenses
- Company credit card reconciliations
- Execute weekly and monthly BACS payment run and foreign suppliers (currency) payments
- Ensure all invoices are receipted in correctly no later than working day 1

**EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE**:

- Proven experience of Purchase Ledger role
- Pro-active
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
- Reliable
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight timescales
- Good excel skills (vlookup, pivots)
