**About us**

Intel Cartel is a small business operating several Youtube Channels in London. We make long form documentary content on a variety of topics but a main focus on Hip Hop History, Gangsta Rap and True Crime.

Job Title: Researcher/ Script Writer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Researcher to join our team. Ideally someone with a passion for and interest in Hip Hop Music, Gangsta Rap, Drill Music, True Crime and Gang History. Your role will include gathering information and creating a Google Doc which will be a timeline for the events of the story you have been assigned. You will be expected to follow a strict style guide and present information clearly, neatly and correctly.

**Responsibilities**:

- As a Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, using Google, Reddit, YouTube, Various articles, books and documentaries.
- Use acurate referencing to ensure all information is properly sourced and verified.
- Be able to write creatively and build narratives to connect pieces of information together.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to complete projects in good time and co-operate effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in research methodologies.
- Good eye for detail e.g. making sure to include high quality images, vetting accuracy of sources, using correct document formatting consistently etc.

**Experience**:

- Experience writing essays with strict formatting style e.g. University essays, dissertations, online articles, blog posts etc.
- Experience with social media specific to the hip hop and Drill community. E.g. Reddit communities like r/Chiraqology, r/HipHopHeads, r/UKDrill r/CaliBanging etc.
- Knowledge of The Youtube Music and documentary scenes. You are expected to be an avid follower of channels like Vlad TV, No Jumper, Akademiks, JCS Criminal Psychology, SunnyV2, Patrick CC etc.
- Genuine interest and passion for Hip Hop music, Gangsta Rap, Youtube culture and True Crime Content.
- Experience with Google Docs and Google Drive Features.

*Requirements:*
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 1-12 months

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
