**About the role**
As Lotus Cars look to continue its transformation journey into a major premium brand and deliver against ambitious Global growth targets, our Global Commercial Organisation is seeking an experienced UX/UI designer. Joining our Marketing team in the Commercial Head office in London, this new role provides digital creative support and forms part of our in-house capabilities tasked with delivering first-class content and consumer touchpoints.

This role will focus on both the user journey and design strategies ensuring we deliver a premium and on brand experience globally. Great focus will also be placed on influencing the strongest possible outcome whether consumer is engaging with the brand for the first time, learning about our cars or looking to buy. Across team we are building digital product optimisation through brand story-telling, product showcase, sales journey, aftersales and extended offerings.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Collect and evaluate user and business requirements with the help of product managers.
- Prepare and present proposals to key stakeholders based on insights and business requirements.
- Translate concepts into storyboards, user flows, wireframes, mock ups and fully designed prototypes to lead to intuitive user experiences, optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Create engaging graphics, illustrations, and infographics that complement and enrich editorial content.
- Create user journeys for our digital platforms, to meet tooling requirements (e.g. Sitecore), ensuring a seamless and impactful user experience across various mediums.
- Identify and resolve UX issues.
- Lead user research and testing to draw insight needed to make informed and user centric design decisions.
- Execute all work following brand guidelines.
- Be an internal thought-leader on user experience best practices and trends collaborating with other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience across the Lotus digital landscape.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

**Essential**:

- Broad experience as a UI/UX designer for a consumer-focused brand.
- Portfolio of work in UI/UX design for mobile and web platforms.
- Experience designing complex digital solutions and best practises of mobile first, responsive design.
- A solid graph of user/centred design, user testing, rapid prototyping, usability and accessibility concerns.
- Experience of consumer led insight whether that’s hands-on user research or a quantitative A/B test.
- Advanced skills in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Technical knowledge of content management systems and their requirements for visual content placement.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities able to collaborate with a variety of teams.
- A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, demonstrating an innovative approach to visual storytelling.
- Proven track record of managing multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the creative process.
- Experience in agile ways of working with particularly strengths in cross-functional project management.

**Desireable**:

- A bachelor's degree in design, visual, or a related field is preferred.
- Global experience with an understanding of cultural nuance/behaviours.
- Experience of Global design systems and technical collaboration.
- Experience within the automotive sector would be beneficial.
