**About the role**

Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) is the market leading grocery eCommerce platform chosen by retailers worldwide to step-change their eCommerce proposition. OSP incorporates eCommerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, Last Mile, Store Pick and cutting edge Material Handling Equipment to provide an end-to-end eCommerce grocery solution - powering our highly automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) and leveraging our partners existing store estate, Our mission is to change the way the world shops, for good - implementing OSP in grocery retailers around the world using our disruptive business model.

As a Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for the definition and management of our Partners end to end capability roadmap, ensuring their requirements are fully represented and understood whilst managing their expectation in line with the Platform Roadmap. You will liaise closely with the Partner and the wider Ocado Solutions organisation to support the implementation of our Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) for our clients internationally.

Initially, you will join the Solutions Managers Centre of Excellence to understand the team and role, whilst at the same time, helping support all Solution Management related activities and processes, with a view to move into a Partner team.

***You will be**
- The Solutions Manager will work with their Partner to define the overall solution that meets their business needs and objectives.
- The Solutions Manager will ensure that our Partners take full advantage of the current and future functionality of OSP, thus enabling a best in world grocery ecommerce experience.
- The Solutions Manager will be the main point of contact for their Partner and will work closely with the Ocado Solutions Partnership and Commercial teams to ensure a positive partner relationship.
- The Solutions Manager will act as a point of liaison between the Partner and Ocado Technology to ensure the Partner understands the OSP Platform Roadmap and the delivery of future capabilities.
- The Solutions Manager will work closely with their Partner to assess their needs and understand future requirements and represent their Partners at product and feature discussions, inputting data driven partner use cases and scenarios.
- The Solutions Manager will act as a first level support, escalating Roadmap issues to the relevant Product and Development teams.
- The Solutions Manager, working alongside the Project Delivery Manager, will be responsible for creating and running the Business Readiness program to deliver the product to the client.
- The Solutions Manager will, from time to time, be required to work in the Solutions Management Centre of Excellence, helping support the Solutions Management function with process improvements and related activities.

***About you**
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in managing strategic partnerships or client relationships
- Experience working for technology companies - managing clients needs and strategic objectives
- Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills, attention to detail is essential
- Ecommerce / Grocery industry knowledge desirable
- Experience working cross-functionally, both internally and externally, to drive partnerships or projects
- Great people management skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, flexible way
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent communicator, able to distil complex messages
- Ability to understand and optimise competing priorities within a resource constrained environment
- Good negotiation skills
- Loves to be client facing, enjoys challenging conversations and resolving conflicting agendas
