**This role is funded across many of our projects to allow parents to access ESOL, skills and employment support while ensuring their children are looked after. These sessions are held at several different locations within Coventry and therefore the person appointed to the role will need access to a car and must hold a full driving license.**
**The Job Description includes**:
- Setting up and tidying away play area and creche facilities
- Maintain a safe play environment for children
- Engaging with children through play activities
- Supporting children with snacks and toileting
- Planning play activities as part of a team of playworkers
- Interacting with parents concerning well-being, behaviour and activities of children.
- Maintain a clean and tidy play area
**The person appointed to this position will have the following skills and attributes**:

- the ability to work well as part of a team
- experience of working with children
**The person appointed to this position must**:
- have a full driving license with no penalties and a car
- have a minimum of a Level 2 childcare qualifications

- There will be a requirement that you attended specific training sessions as requested and annually undergo safeguarding training._
The position we are recruiting for is for 12hrs Monday to Friday at a rate of £6719.34 per year. There may be potential for hours to increase these hours based on growth of project and demand.
The contract period is 9 months with potential to extend.
