British Transport Police (BTP) are recruiting for an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer on a Fixed Term Contract, until 31st March 2027. The role is paying £26,098.99 FTE per annum and will be based in Birmingham.

BTP is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast-paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing. As an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer with BTP you will provide a comprehensive service relating to management of Anti-Social behaviour (ASB) on the network. Primarily you will be a specialist officer focusing on early intervention, reassurance of victims and witnesses, prevention strategies and civil enforcement. You will deliver appropriate service to all service users fairly and without discrimination.

**As Anti-Social Behaviour Officer you will be required to**:

- Proactively manage and monitor an ASB caseload, opening and progressing cases in line with agreed procedures and good practice and using a range of civil based interventions
- Record incidents received via Safer Travel on their Case Management system as crime reports on both West Midlands Police and British Transport Police systems
- Build positive working relationships with the internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure all reports of Anti-Social behaviour are assessed and where necessary are investigated as ASB cases using appropriate Civil Intervention options to manage offenders and Problem Solving to reduce the potential for similar offences being reported
