This Degree Apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to learn while you earn

We will provide a fully paid 3-year Apprenticeship to help you gain a Degree specialising in Cyber Security and provide hands on working experience. You’ll spend 20% of your working week studying with lots of support from your DVSA mentor, line manager and Apprenticeship provider. We will even build in career progression and promotion opportunities for you at the end of the 3 years

The L6 BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology solutions degree will be delivered by NCH Northeastern.

**Job description**:
You will:

- Prioritise and classify security alerts based on their significance and potential impact, separating any false and genuine threats.
- Take part in ongoing training and development to keep up with evolving cyber security threats and technologies.
- Communicate and collaborate with other teams, such as network administrators, system administrators, and management.
- Monitor and investigate security alerts to identify security incidents and perform analysis to help resolve issues.
- Help conduct incident response exercises including assessing, finding solutions and threat-hunting.

This is a development role so to be eligible to apply, the training and development you receive during this apprenticeship must provide you with significant new skills and learning. **Qualifications**:

- Three A levels (or equivalent at BBB or above).
- At least Grade 4/C GCSE Maths, English and IT

In addition, you must:
- Be aged 16 or over (there is no upper age limit).
- Have the permanent right to work in the UK and have been ordinarily resident in the UK/EU/EA for 3 consecutive years before starting the apprenticeship.
- Have left full-time education by the time the apprenticeship starts and not be in receipt of funding for other learning programmes (including another apprenticeship).
