**Health & Social Care Trainer**
- Hours: Full-time, 35 per week
- Location: Worthing, West Sussex

**Essential Requirements**:

- Bring your experience and passion for supporting people in a care setting
- Hold a recognised training and assessor qualification
- Showcase your mentoring and coaching skills, honed over at least 2 years in the care sector
- Dive into the role with your excellent role model and facilitation skills
- Demonstrate your ability to navigate medication administration with confidence

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities in an employment or volunteering capacity adds an extra layer of insight
- Flex your training muscles with experience in designing and delivering training within the care sector, including mandatory care training
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Possess a current First Aid at Work and Manual Handling training qualification

**Your Role**:
As a Health & Social Care Trainer, you'll be at the forefront of empowering our staff and volunteers to provide the highest standard of care and support. Here's what you'll be doing:
1. Creating a Supportive Learning Environment:

- Set the stage for success by creating a fun and inspiring learning environment that enables our staff to thrive

2. Induction and Training Coordination:

- Welcome new members with open arms, providing them with a clear induction plan and ongoing support to achieve the Care Certificate standards
- Design and deliver statutory, mandatory, and developmental training to new and existing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

3. Monitoring and Evaluation:

- Keep a close eye on care practice standards through direct observation and feedback, identifying areas for improvement and taking proactive steps to address them

4. Collaboration and Standardisation:

- Work closely with Senior Managers and Training Manager to ensure a standardised approach to learning and development across all services
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among Practice Development Facilitators in other services to ensure a consistent and effective approach

5. Continuous Improvement:

- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up to date with current thinking on learning and development best practices, and implementing innovative approaches to enhance our training programs
