**OVERVIEW: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR**
An opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Assessor to join their successful team.
You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and a Teaching Qualification. You will also need a L5 H&SC qualification
You will need to be flexible to travel to see learners in the workplace in the West Sussex and Kent regions, although much of the training can be delivered from home online.
**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR**
- Train, assess, motivate and support Health & Social Care learners on programmes towards achieving Health & Social Care Apprenticeship qualifications, including Functional skills
- Maximise the use of e-learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways.
- Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Health & Social Care training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR**
- A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)
- Teaching qualification
- Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2
- L5 H&SC qualification
- A minimum 2 years’ occupational experience within a Health & Social Care setting within a senior/management role
- Experience of working remotely
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
- Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle
