**Business Excellence Lead**:
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Business Excellence Lead role to join The Oxford Group.

We are looking for an energetic, proactive and hands-on individual to join the Operational Excellence team at this exciting time, where there is plenty of opportunity to make a positive impact and difference to the organisation.

You will work closely with the Director of Operational Excellence to create and implement the strategy and roadmap for improvements, projects and changes ensuring senior stakeholder buy-in. You will have ownership for the roadmap and plans, ensuring these are delivered to time and budget.

You will lead on Quality Management and ISDP for The Oxford Group, working in collaboration with ISDP colleagues in the wider business, ensuring that we are effective, efficient, and compliant. You will also be the lead for management and monitoring of our external IT provider.

Our office is in Oxford and although we can offer some flexibility of hybrid/ home working arrangements, ideally, we would like you to work onsite once or twice per week.

**About the role**:
This is a very varied and broad role that covers 4 different areas of responsibility: Improvement Management, Project and Change Management, Quality and Data Management and IT and Technology.

You will work in collaboration with Director of Operational Excellence to design, implement and manage the communication and reporting schedule, to ensure we understand our data, identify risks and issues and are able to brief senior leaders on major implications for implementation and recommendations to mitigate further risk.

In Project and Change Management area you will partner key stakeholders including SLT to identify OG’s current strategic priorities and to scope projects. You will also manage the delivery of a series of change programmes working with colleagues from across the Oxford Group and wider City & Guilds Business. As a Business Excellence Lead you will also identify change requirements for the business and support the transition and successful embedding of solutions into a business-as-usual state.

In Quality & Data Management area you will create and maintain the quality framework for key documentation and processes and keep abreast of changes to the quality standards. You will create and maintain all quality documentation and you will be scheduling and preparing for the quality audits including ISO 9001 and CE+.

In IT and technology area, you will manage and monitor service delivery of external IT provider, ensuring service meets SLA. You will be working in collaboration with IS&DP team, to support and implement adherence to data security standards including GDPR and you will be providing advice to the bids team on data security standards.

This role would suit an experienced individual with background in a similar role.

This is an interesting role where no day is going to be the same so you will not be bored.

This vacancy would suit an individual who likes to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a technically minded self-starter who can work in a team and on their own. You will be using Power BI and Excel, so you need to enjoy working with technology.

**Attributes we are looking for**:

- Extensive experience of managing complex projects within a matrix environment
- Experience of ISO and CE+ standards
- Confidence to challenge at all levels
- Evidence of thinking cross-functionally and cross organisationally
- Proven ability in managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority through effective communication (both written and verbal).
- The ability to turn strategic ideas and objectives into practical, well organised plans with a focus on results.
- Able to pre-empt and analyse problems and present commercially viable solutions.
- Effective development, management and staff motivation, providing strong leadership.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and use of technology in business
- Project Management accreditation i.e. Prince2
- Natural collaborator

If you have a recognised ISO 9001 qualification and experience of managing data security this would be also beneficial.

We would also like you to be tech savvy to aide efficiency and communication with strong technical and social media skills.
