**What you’ll be doing**

As the Accreditation Advisor you will provide accreditation advice to employers and learning providers. You will ensure the different accreditation options are organised efficiently and presented clearly to customers. You’ll assist with the planning, progressreporting and forecasting of programs of accreditation visits and assist the manager to develop the service.

**A little more about the role**
- Developing new business and maximising repeat business
- Delivering against KPI targets for revenue, costs and contributing to professional registration targets
- Providing credible and high-quality advice and guidance to employers and learning providers on professional development and accreditation
- Organising and undertaking accreditation visits with expert assessors
- Writing accreditation visit reports
- Creating, managing and implementing customer focused procedures
- Ensuring the different accreditation options are organised efficiently and presented clearly to customers
- Assisting the Manager to develop the service
- Managing the community of IET volunteer assessors and ensuring they are trained and equipped with the resources they need
- Assisting with the planning, progress reporting and forecasting of programmes of accreditation visits
- Supporting the accreditation committee and their online decision making forum
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal audit
- Organising engagement activities and events with companies
- Coordinating joint accreditation activity with other engineering institutions

- Experience of influencing through credible advice and guidance
- Capable of reviewing and providing feedback on training and professional development schemes or similar
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service
- Experience of acquiring new business and maintaining existing business
- Experience of creating, managing and implementing procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate with people at all levels
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload
- The ability to communicate sensitive information diplomatically
- Strong organisation and administration skills, including the ability to work in a systematic manner with accuracy and minimum supervision
- Experience of writing reports and analysing and presenting data
- Prepared to travel throughout the UK on a regular basis.
