MBDA is a world leader in missile and weapon systems and a unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual with specialist skills and knowledge as an Instructional Training Designer and Product Training Instructor to work on MBDA's products. This role is an opportunity to influence and evolve our new departmental capability of in-house production of E-Learning media.

This exciting role may also require you to step outside of your comfort zone and assist in product training delivery in one of the air, sea or land domains. One of the most challenging and enjoyable aspects of Product Training is the diverse and varying amount of products that we support.

**What we're looking for**
- We are looking for an Instructional Designer & Training Instructor with the appropriate experience and qualifications in developing Storyboards for Computer Based Training (CBT), Virtual Reality (VR), E-Learning and delivery of Maintenance Training.
- Understanding of the E-Learning development process. Develops Storyboards from source content which includes training materiel or technical publications and delivers the storyboards to the E-Learning Content Developer for production.
- Relevant Instructor qualifications, defence or civilian equivalents are desirable coupled with Maintainer qualifications and in-depth experience of theoretical and practical maintenance instruction.
- We're looking for an Instructor who can develop and maintain structured training courses with the associated enabling objectives and key learning points, the supporting media, plans, reports and through to the eventual delivery of MBDA product training to the highest quality, on time and on cost.
- Experience and a working knowledge of the Engineering Industry or the Military maintenance instructional environment is preferable but not essential.
- Sound knowledge of engineering structure and process is an advantage, as you will be required to respond to technical queries from the Customer or provide support to design, trials or proving activities when required.
- The ability to work cross functionally with integrated departments such as LSA (Logistic Support Analyst's), ILS (Integrated Logistic Support Engineers) and ISS (In Service Support) team members in the UK as well as in our overseas offices.
- Liaise with product suppliers in support of training technologies or equipment development whilst maintaining personal and technical reports, records etc. of all Training and Field Support activities, to a high standard.
- As part of some training deliveries, you may be required to be involved in Field Support Activities and lead a Contractor's Working Party, at the Customer's location, in the UK or overseas, within the scope of Company Approval.
- You need to be able to work with a variety of different types of people and will maintain a willing, helpful attitude and a calm professional manner, even when things are changed at the last minute.
- Strong interpersonal skills for customer and industrial partners' interaction, a strong resilience and a good communicator.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
