Job Description:

At Surecall Recruitment Services, we are seeking a highly skilled HGV Training Instructor to join our team in Stevenage. As an experienced instructor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and guidance to new and existing HGV drivers. Your primary objective will be to equip trainees with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely operate heavy goods vehicles and obtain their HGV driving licence.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid UK HGV driving licence to CE level, an NRI Qualification, and CPC Qualified instructor certification (desired). You will also have extensive experience in training at all HGV vehicle levels, including C1 to CE. Furthermore, excellent communication and teaching skills are essential for this role, as you will need to provide clear and concise feedback to trainees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on and off-the-road training to new drivers
- Assess the driving skills of new drivers
- Plan and deliver driving lessons
- Provide feedback and guidance on areas of improvement

Requirements:
- A valid UK HGV driving licence to CE Level
- An NRI Qualification
- CPC Qualified instructor - desirable
- Knowledge of the UK DVLA driving test syllabus
- Ability to be patient and reassuring
- Effective communication and teaching skills
- Ability to identify areas of improvement
