Business Systems Specialist

**Summary**

This role is for a 6-month fixed-term contract.
- Maintaining a positive relationship between IT Systems and all business functions at YASA.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical people in a comprehensible form.
- Undertake any other duties that may be considered appropriate.

**To succeed in this role, we believe you'll need**:

- A degree in a related academic field, business administration, or relevant experience.
- Previous exposure to C# specifically interfacing with relational databases and APIs.
- A good understanding of MS SQL, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Strong project management skills.
- To be results-orientated, and have the ability to deliver business value.
- Previous experience in business planning, strategy development and support.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience of virtualised environments (VMware).
- Excellent analytical and judgment skills including the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- The ability to assess the viability of business projects, and lead implementation.
- The ability to understand complex specifications and communicate them in an accessible manner to non-technical people.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly Excel reporting, Microsoft T-SQL queries.
- Willingness to travel as required.

**Though not expected, it would be very beneficial if you have**:

- ERP system administration (MS Dynamics NAV preferred).
- Previous Automotive manufacturing experience.
