HR Assistant

**Would you like the opportunity to develop your skills in HR and Administration to the next level?**

We have an exciting opportunity within our HR and Administration functions. Your main area of focus will be to support the HR Manager and the Senior Management Team (SMT) with day-to-day HR and administrative activities for the organisation.

**The role**
- Working with the HR Manager and the recruitment team, you will provide HR support to all employees throughout all aspects of their working journey.
- Attendance management - carry out return-to-work telephone interviews, identify absence triggers and support with attendance review meetings.
- Support the HR Manager with reports on key HR metrics - leaver analysis and absence levels.
- Feedback calls - you and your HR Manager will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out gathering feedback from new joiners to the organisation in line with company policy.
- Carry out welfare calls to staff and record on People Planner system.
- Support and carry out risk assessments relating to employee health, safety and wellbeing at work.
- Contracts - issue contracts to staff and any changes to terms and conditions of employment via Docu-sign.
- Support the HR Manager with employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, TUPE, the HR leaver process and staff wellbeing.
- Communications - supporting with the quarterly Newsletters and any other forms of workforce communications as instructed by the SMT. This would include Employee Surveys and HR Drop In sessions.
- Dealing with reference requests and any other ad hoc requests arriving in the HR inbox.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that all employee electronic files are kept in good order.

**What we require?**

You need to be IT literate, have some experience in HR and/or administration functions with an excellent manner with people. An awareness of client and employee confidentiality in line with GDPR and Data Protection is essential.

If you are organised, enjoy administrative tasks, have good attention to detail and are comfortable participating in meetings and conducting discussions over the phone then this role is for you.

You must enjoy working in a small team.

It would be advantageous if you are working towards an HR qualification of some kind but is not an essential requirement.

Training support with be given to the right person.

It is a full-time post, 37.5 hours per week, but part-time may be considered and is based in the office at Northwich. The salary is £23,540 per annum (pro rata if part-time).
