The RM Planner plays a fundamental role in ensuring that production schedules are met by purchasing the necessary raw materials in a timely manner. The RM planner supports the MRP function in executing the daily MRP tasks and working in conjunction with Production Planning and the Lead RM Planner to determine the resources necessary to meet the production schedule and to ensure timely arrivals of raw materials into the factory to avoid operational downtime. In addition, This role also requires day to day management of the Product Master Data of Raw Material and Finished Goods codes.

Key Accountabilities
- Monitor inventory levels against forecast and place orders to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture the product along with adequate safety stocks without exceeding working capital constraints
- Monitor deliveries to ensure supplier compliance to delivery schedule.
- Process MRP and ensure timely order placement for all purchase orders.
- Monitor bulk tanks each day ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Checking expected deliveries daily and making adjustments to the delivery schedule based upon amendments to the production plan.
- Updating ERP system (IFS) with BOM’s via the product specification documents.
- Attend regular NPD meetings to update and escalate any raw materials issues
- Management of Master Data - from Raw Material to Finished Goods codes

- Maintaining adequate stock levels in line with safety stocks
- Stock outages
- Customer service level
- Raw material working capital
- Obsoletion management

**Qualifications**

Qualifications/Experience
- Experience in FMCG material planning - desirable
- Experience with ERP systems in FMCG - desirable
- Organised and methodical
- Strong Analytical skills/numerate
- Ability to work with large amounts of complex data and analyse trends
- Good general IT skills - MS Excel is extremely desirable
- Maths or Business qualifications an advantage
