Kitchen Porter/ Potwasher

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wheatsheaf Pub and Pantry in Bakewell for a Kitchen Porter/ potwasher.

As a Kitchen Porter, you are at the heart of our main operations and we are looking for individuals who share our energy and passion and will contribute to our ongoing success.

As a kitchen porter, your primary role will be to support the team by ensuring all areas of the kitchen and equipment are kept clean. You will be part of a team delivering an exceptional food offering.

While your focus will be primarily on the pot wash, flexibility is required.

**General duties**
- To carry out kitchen tasks set for you by your head chef / sous chef
- To collect deliveries, clean and stock kitchen
- To assist with cleaning duties in an effective and friendly manner
- To maintain the Wheatsheaf Pub and Pantry's standards of food safety & cleanliness
- To communicate effectively with your manager and team
- To work in a fast-paced kitchen washing pots and keeping hygiene standards up to standard.
