Opportunities are available for kitchen porters within our friendly catering team at Chatsworth.

You will ensure that a clean, hygienic environment is maintained in the kitchen by cleaning surfaces and maintaining order. You will also provide an adequate supply of clean pans, crockery and cutlery. Flexibility is essential in this role and you should be willing to help out in other areas of the catering department including assisting the chefs with basic food preparation.

You should be able to work quickly and efficiently, be self-motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure. Ideally, you will have a food hygiene certificate with previous experience of working in a busy restaurant kitchen but this is not essential as full training will be provided.

Permanent hours are 32 per week, 4 out of 7 days including weekends, with the occasional need for additional hours in busy periods - this is a seasonal permanent role working March to December each year. Casual hours are offered on an as and when required basis.
