A Junior Cloud Engineer with at least one year of experience is needed to join our team at TrilbyTV on a remote (work from home) basis. TrilbyTV is the UK’s only digital signage platform made for education.

Working with the Product development team, you will look to build an extensive and deep understanding of the technical architecture of TrilbyTV.

You’ll be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and configuring elements of the Azure-based solution and bringing your ideas for growth and efficiency improvements.

You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions and execute them. As a small team, we support each other and expect support from each other.

**About the Role**

You will be strong in researching and understanding SaaS platforms and always look for ways to improve yourself and the product. With your level of technical skill and product knowledge, you will also be called on to provide customer support as part of theexcellent service we provide to our users.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily monitoring and have oversight of the TrilbyTV platform
- Identify and report or resolve any technical issues that may occur
- Develop scripts and tools to make our infrastructure resilient and efficient
- Provide technical support to end users and the TrilbyTV team as required
- Feedback on any issues or suggested improvements to the Head of Product
- Have an open dialogue with Relationships and Growth teams around product use
- Take part in product development and testing with a focus on growth

**Required Experience**:

- At least one year of experience with Azure hosting technologies
- Knowledge of the current Azure toolset
- An understanding of network technologies from client browsers to cloud databases
- Excellent attention to detail and a drive to get things done
- Be keen to improve your knowledge and upskill continually
- Azure App service, Application Insights, Log Workspaces
- Azure Application Gateway
- Azure Functions
- Azure Managed SQL
- CI/CD Tools - Focus on Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Docker
- Net Core 5+
- Ruby on Rails
- Git
- Other Scripting Languages (Powershell, Bash, Python, Ruby, etc)
