**JOB TITLE: Assistant Store Manager**

**REPORTING TO: Store Manager**

**Salary £15,800 to £16,800 plus Group Bonus 6k to 10k Depending on Sales**

After Black Friday you will be required to work 3 Sundays in 5 but you can have time off in lieu or paid

They are enjoying rapid growth right now and are adding to the already multiple sites they have throughout the UK

As Assistant Store Manager you will deputise for the Store Manager, ensuring the continued successful day to day running of the store, managing your colleagues, and ensuring our customers always receive the great service they have come to expect when theyshop with us.

Full technical and product training will be given, along with close support from the start to ensure you succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
To support the Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Store, by complying with Company standards and procedures of operation in order to maximise sales and profits, whilst maintaining high standards of customer service and a safe and attractiveenvironment for customers and staff. To deputise in the Manager’s absence.

KEY TASKS:
1. To maximise sales potential and profitability of the store.

2. To ensure all administration is carried out in an accurate and timely manner.

3. To attend appropriate supplier training in order to improve product knowledge.

4. To manage and develop all directly reporting staff within the store.

5. To build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and sell the Custom Installation service and associated products as appropriate.

6. To liaise with the Custom Installation team throughout all jobs to make sure installations are managed to meet and exceed customer’s expectations.

7. To undertake additional projects as required.

8. To develop the skills and performance of all reporting staff by identifying and delivering the appropriate training and development in order to increase sales and improve the overall efficiency of the department.

9. To be flexible in working in other group stores for the purposes of providing cover or developing experience

10. To take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions and cooperate with the Company to enable it to meet its health and safety responsibilities

1. To be sales driven, customer focused and highly motivated, with a proven sales track record

2. An excellent communicator, able to demonstrate skills with both customers and team

3. A self-motivated individual, who can work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player

4. Able to demonstrate excellent business awareness and commercial focus

5. Able to demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail

**LOCATION**

Based in the Norwich Store, however, travel to other store locations may be required as well as travel to Head Office for meetings.
