Studio Operator

About the Role (Training will be provided):
We are seeking UK based studio operators to help us cover grassroots League football from home (this role is fully remote). You will be required to operate match graphics (Scoreboard, graphic overlays, Video playout) for match live streams using the ioLIVE Studio. You will need to have your own mid-range PC or Mac to reliably run the software.
Your job is to watch the match and update scores and graphics during Pre-match, Half time and full time. This will include some video playout. You will need to be a good problem solver and always ready to take action should streams encounter issues (with this being a in development software, issues could occur). You will also need to communicate with Camera operators at the game.
Your skills:
- Experience of live streaming
- Experience with streaming software such as OBS or equivalent (Training will be provided on the ioLIVE Studio)
- Reliable mid-range Computer
- Good internet access
- A good understanding of football (You will be required to watch the game to update graphics)
- Good attention to details
- Good communication skills
- Good technical IT skills
About ioLIVE:
ioLIVE is a streaming platform used to create live streams across social video channels. We are currently tailoring the software to enable sports clubs and teams to stream arena/ pitch-based sports events. We are working with a handful of teams to bring their games to online social video platforms (YouTube, Facebook Live, Twitch).
We’re currently building out our client base and need enthusiastic studio operators to join our team to cover the games as and when they come. We are hiring multiple operators and will offer work as and when we have it. You will be added to our group of operators with regular work taking commencing soon.
