An opportunity has arisen for dynamic and motivated doctors to join our Plastic Surgery Department for an initial 6-month period extendible to 12-months provided satisfactory progress based on research output, consultant feedback and documented progress on ISCP portfolio.

During the appointment the Research Fellows will undertake both clinical and research work. The post holders will be required to develop clinical audit and research projects ultimately aiming for national and international presentations and publications. We are affiliated with Huddersfield University giving the applicant(s) the possibility to pursue a masters in research degree should they wish to do so.

The post holders will be expected to divide their working time equally between research and clinical duties. We will endeavour to tailor the post to allow all necessary competences, required for national selection at ST3 level, to be achieved.
