LSCFT Bed Management Team are looking to recruit a dynamic Bed Management & Flow Co-ordinator. The post holder will work with all inpatient and community services within the adult and older adult mental health services to identify and place patients appropriately and timely, working to agreed protocols and procedures.

You will work as an integral member of the team, working in a rewarding and busy environment.

This interesting and varied role requires the post holder to be committed to teamwork, whilst also having the ability to work well on their own using their initiative based on knowledge and experience.

The Bed Management Team can be extremely busy and demanding, therefore the post holder must possess the ability to manage a variety of tasks and be able to prioritise accordingly.

You will be required to possess excellent communication skills and be expected to represent the service with professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.

You will be expected to have proven organisational skills and a strong commitment to personal and professional development.

You will be expected to work 12 hour shifts over a 7 day service. It is also essential that you are able to work nights.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire and South Cumbria.
