We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated hourly-paid lecturer to join the East Durham College Team.

**Main Duties of the Role**:
As a lecturer within the Foundation Studies Department the main focus of the role is to deliver teaching & learning to students with a range of SEND. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly and efficiently to maintain the highest professional standards in the delivery of allocated teaching programmes, including the associated organisational, coordination and administrative responsibility.

**Essential Requirement**:

- Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy
- Teaching qualification
- Experience of teaching young people with SEND
- Experience of pastoral support and safeguarding
