**HR Officer**

**What to expect from the role**
- Support and coach managers in performance and absence management.
- Manage collection and provision of audit work e.g. right to work.
- Support on data mining of engagement survey results.
- Work with HRBPs on ad-hoc projects such as manager inductions.
- Support delivery of training to managers on absence management, performance management etc.
- Advise and guide managers on people related topics such as flexible working, maternity leave and all company policies.
- Work closely with the ER manager in managing investigations, grievances, and disciplinaries.
- Data Subject Access Request co-ordination.
- Manage ER queries in the HR Inbox.

**What we are looking for**
- Experience managing ER cases in a fast-paced environment
- Retail background
- Knowledge of employment law and terms of employment legislation
- Ability to coach individuals and influence
- CIPD Qualified 5 and/or 7 - desirable
- A natural presenter who is comfortable facilitating workshops and meetings
- A team player who is seen as approachable and a positive role model
- Able to build positive and strong relationships with a reputation for integrity and achieving results
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptionally well organised and efficient
- Commercially savvy, preferably with a strong understanding of retail
- Pro-active and able to show initiative with a positive and challenging style
- Approachable, warm, empathetic and creative yet pragmatic
