**Join our Team as a Risk and Compliance Assistant**

Evolution Funding provides the UK’s largest used auto finance platform. Our mission is to digitise, automate and enhance the consumer auto finance experience.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our expanding Risk and Compliance department. As a key player in our dynamic team, you’ll be instrumental in transitioning our team to oversee regulatory compliance and risk across both Evolution and our wider group businesses.

This role offers the perfect blend of support and independence. You'll receive comprehensive training to build your confidence, allowing you to take full ownership of your workload. As our department expands, you'll be at the heart of exciting developments, working closely with colleagues across various departments and at all levels. You'll build valuable relationships, enhancing your professional network in a collaborative environment that values innovative process improvements and best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work on all elements of our compliance monitoring program, ensuring adherence to regulatory, contractual, and legislative standards.
- Collaborate with the wider oversight team and other departments, promoting compliance internally and externally.
- Continuously review and improve processes, bringing innovative best practices to the company.
- Support the compliance team in producing and delivering regulatory training to staff.
- Manage incidents, investigate root causes, and implement follow-up actions.
- Keep a close eye on potential financial crime and vulnerable customers.
- Assist in preparing documents and presentations for Risk and Compliance forums and committees.
- Maintain our policies and procedures governance, ensuring up-to-date compliance.
- Work with the Risk and Compliance Manager on various compliance projects.
- Engage with internal and external partners, completing due diligence as needed.
- Review and approve various financial promotions.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Understanding of the financial services industry and FCA regulatory obligations.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- High accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
- Adaptable and eager to suggest improvements.
- Confident in communicating with all departments and at all levels.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
