Patient Services Administration Assistant

Administration duties Print and photocopy patient records requested by solicitors, insurance company's and other organisations and raise invoices when appropriate Assist GPs with administrative processes and protocols Process requests from insurers requiring medical reports, checking them with GPs and raising invoices Liaise with GPs to process any forms received from patients that requires GP action Recording the receipt of payments from patients Franking mail and delivering of all outgoing mail to local post office Scanning clinical documents to patient medical records that are received via the secretarial team Assist with the process of new patient registrations Document the arrival of new patient records from Primary Care Support England Retrieve hard copies of notes from the records room for patient deductions Filing patient records Email retinal screening referrals and add to register Scan and attach patient summaries to records Deduction of patients records following a death Facilitate adoption paperwork
