Our successful client is looking for an immediately available Accounts Payable Assistant to help in the running of the Accounts Payable department. The role will be for a period of 6 months initially and is very likely to become permanent. Responsibilities will include:

- Processing supplier invoices
- Matching invoices against purchase orders, raising queries where required
- Processing sub-contractor payment notices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Maintaining creditors ledger
- Dealing with relevant queries
- Assisting with year end audit requests
- Liaising with a range of colleagues in different business areas
- Ensuring all work is accurate and to a high standard.
- Immediately available with strong accounts payable experience
- Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Able to use initiative
- Confident in dealing with queries by telephone.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
