We’re offering a truly career enhancing role for a **Head of Internal Communications and Engagement t **o translate the Marie Curie Strategy, (and associated strategic plans, people and change programmes) into an Internal Communication strategy and plan that will contribute to our organisational performance by enabling our colleagues to feel _engaged _, _informed, _connected _and _purposeful _.

This role acts as the Internal Communications Subject Matter Expert and is highly visible to both the Executive Leadership team and leaders across the whole Marie Curie organisation. Providing them with strategic advice on internal communications opportunities, engagement strategies, key announcements, and message positioning.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven in-depth experience of leading Internal Communications and Engagement teams in a large-scale, complex organisation with multi-sites and geographically dispersed populations.
- A strong track record in multi-channel internal communications campaign planning and delivery including audience segmentation and messaging differentiation.
- Track record of managing complex change and transformation related communications.
- Excellent relationship, stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels with the credibility to provide counsel and advice to senior executives. Experience of providing critical yet constructive feedback as well as challenging when needed to build trust.
- Ability to translate complex issues into engaging communications for a range of different audiences.
