A Multinational Energy Company based in London and Reading is seeking an Finance Reporting Transformation Lead to join their team on a contract basis for 12 months. (Extension highly likely) (Hybrid working 1 day a week, rest remote in either London or Reading office)

Main Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Finance Reporting Transformation Lead who can implement a phased roadmap of simplification and automation across the current manual reporting suite. The role will work closely with the business to identify manual reports being produced, capture underlying business requirements and design/implement improvements through transitioning to new systems and tools (within the Oracle suite)

The role will be critical in driving the reporting transformation agenda, working closely with Business and IT colleagues.

The role holder will have experience in project managing and delivering reporting transformation projects, underpinned by a strong understanding of Finance business requirements, data strategy and Oracle IT solutions. The reporting cuts across all areas of the P&L, Capital investment projects and operational (e.g. AP/AR) reporting

Post Holder Deliverables and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Finance teams across us to gain a detailed understand of manual reports being produced today and processes being performed for report production
- Capture detailed business requirements, identifying key stakeholders for reports and underlying data sources
- Design and implement a phased plan for transitioning manual reports (typically excel), reports on legacy systems (TM1) onto reporting tools (Oracle OBIEE, EPBCS)
- Work closely with the Internal IT teams to define approach and timeline for any data migration to new systems/tools
- Work with the broader programme team to design 'mock ups' of new reports in PowerBI in order to present back to key stakeholders
- Plan and manage cut-over plans, including User Acceptance testing and report de-commissioning
- Pro-actively work with the comms and change team (within the programme) to ensure business readiness criteria are met for any significant changes

Post Holder experience and skill sets
- Minimum of five years experience project managing Finance management reporting improvement programmes.
- Qualified accountant who can understand and challenge finance requirements.
- A robust understanding of P&L, Capital and Transactional finance reporting (what good looks like)
- Strong stakeholder management skills in order to manage and influence a wide range of internal stakeholders
- Experience of Oracle products (EBS, TM1, OBIEE, EPBCS)
- Strong understand of data and how to use data to genuinely design reports which enable business decisions (incorporating key KPI's)
- Self-motivated and hands on approach, with the ability to design and deliver end to end implementation plans

Technology awareness across a broad range of technologies, including:

- Oracle OBIEE
- Oracle EBS (Enterprise Business Suite)
- Oracle PBCS/EPBCS
- PowerBI
- TM1

**Qualifications**:

- Project management experience or formal qualifications
- Qualified accountant (or qualified by experience)
