DOMESTIC SALES ASSISTANT

Full-time position. Salary plus bonus.

Phone based sales role.

This is a great opportunity to join our team at the Wymondham office with home working following the training period.

Working in the Domestic Sales department you will be the first point of contact for our customers. This is a Sales position, responding to customers to convert heating oil enquiries into sales. Following successful completion of the probationary period you will qualify for our sales bonus scheme.

Key responsibilities:

- Taking orders over the telephone from customers
- Providing quotes to potential customers
- Following up all unsold quotes
- Marketing the company through call ups and mail shots
- Management of customer accounts
- Encouraging card payment at time of order
- Ensuring significant delivery directions are obtained from the customer when creating new customer orders to contribute to a smooth delivery
- Managing customer requests
- Co-operating with routing and ensure a flexible delivery schedule is maintained

Qualifications and Experience:

- At least 1 years experience of working in a fast paced, sales environment - preferred
- Previous experience of selling heating oil or similar products - preferred
- IT literate - essential
- Proven sales person with high conversion rate - preferred

- Ability to work under pressure - essential
- Professional manner - essential
- Good communication skills - essential
- Attention to detail - preferred
- Friendly and helpful manner - preferred
