HR Advisor

As an **HR Advisor**, you will play a crucial role in supporting human resources activities within our Project on Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR processes, ensuring effective deployment and resolution of issues. You will collaborate with Site Management, Employees, and the Training Team to maintain a skilled workforce and foster positive employee relations.

**Key Deliverables**:
**Employee Relations and Management**
- Provide counsel to site management on employee relations and management issues.
- Assist with the design and delivery of development programmes for the sites, including performance reviews, discipline, and grievance management.
- Manage and develop the HR Administrator to assist with the delivery of the Advisor role.
**Policy Implementation and Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Upskill Managers in effective and positive management strategies and approach people management guidance in a pragmatic but best practice way.
- Support Plant & Resource workforce onboarding, to ensure accurate processing of employee related data in accordance with GDPR, RTW and site security protocols and procedures.
**Recruitment and Onboarding**
- Offer proactive recruiting assistance, including job evaluations and recruitment strategies.
- Bring together the appointment process for successful applicants.
- Coordinate inductions and onboarding for new hires.
**Client Liaison**
- Work in partnership with the Client to identify, develop and nurture relationships with local communities, organisations, schools, colleges, charities, etc.
- Identify and develop involvement in projects that will ensure that the Project and Blackwell are seen to have provided a positive legacy in the local community.
- Data collection leading to preparation of quarterly reporting for Community Engagement together with ongoing data collection and preparation of KPI Reporting.
**Knowledge and Skills Required**:
- **Education - **A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
- **Experience - **Hands on experience in a HR role, preferably within a manufacturing or construction environment
- **Certification - **CIPD qualification is advantageous
- **Skills -**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Proficiency in IT tools and systems
- Deadline-orientated and proactive
The ability to work in a fast paced environment and understand operational demands, developing people strategies to support these

- Able to provide impartial and objective advice to support and develop line managers
- Ability to use an HR Management information system including, accessing, inputting, compiling and verifying data
- Strong verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group
- Concise written communication skills to produce accurate correspondence and reports
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and research best practice solutions to organisational issues.
