Internal Sales Team Leader

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the day to day running of the Elgin Internal Sales Team including ; _sales order, quotes, credits, returns, customer & colleague enquires, warranties and manifests._
- Delegate task and set deadlines, monitoring the completion of these tasks.
- Provide support as required to the Internal Sales Team.
- Input to and mange department KPI’s.
- Identify training needs of the team, providing any necessary support.
- Monitor Team / Individual performance, set clear goals and delegate tasks as necessary.
- Provide support to other departments as and when required.
- Key Holder Responsibilities.
- Successful conclusion of all sales related activity arising from sales enquiry pick-up.
- Receive, and progress to conclusion, customer sales enquiries, quotations and orders received.
- Advising customers of Company products and services.
- Price customer orders and advise the customer of goods availability including non stock items.
- Regularly review and update overdue customer orders.
- Communicate as necessary with customers and suppliers, resolving any issues they may have.
- Assist, as directed, external sales staff in customer order process and progress.
- Manage Customer Special Pricing.
- Manage Estore Orders monitoring, price, margin and availability.

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in a team leader role or similar is beneficial.
- The ability to negotiate with suppliers and customers.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, proficiency in Excel is desired.
- Attention to detail.
- High organisation and time
- management skills.
- Excellent Customer Service: communicate effectively with customers - connect with the customer by being friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable - be available to deliver great service - resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision and make decisions relevant to the successful outcome and conclusion of the processes.
- Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change.
- Good numeracy knowledge.
