As a **_Conference and Events Administration Assistant_** you will be responsible for the administrative support strategy of the Sales & Marketing team. Responsible for meeting and setting of administrative processes and procedures for the effective support of key personnel in the team including but not limited to those set out below.

**What will you be doing?**
- Administrative support for Corporate Sales Managers and the Director of Sales/Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Compiling Daily, Weekly, Monthly reports. Using Excel to pull and manipulate data, sending out requests for information from other Sales Managers/departments.
- Analysing data to spot any trends or errors & reporting to Corporate Sales Manager.
- Completing RFP’s through online systems including MARRFP/Lanyon, including renegotiations.
- Management of RFP tracker, communication updates to reservations & accurate rate loading, preparing rate agreements.
- Competitor rate calls, research on local business for potential sales leads.
- Assisting Corporate Sales Managers with Account management where necessary including cold calling and prospecting new accounts.
- Organisation & logistics for the sales team at industry exhibitions, eg - Business Travel Show, Marriott Tradeshows, and Local Sales Blitz’s.
- Liaising with hotel reservations and revenue management managers to book rooms for VIP corporate and agency clients.
- Management of travel agency bedbanks and contra-agreements.
- Trouble shooting, particularly difficult client queries or complaints.
- Manage all arrangements for familiarisation trips and office visits.
- All other reasonable requests from St Ermin’s Management.
